Danny Wuerffel joins the AFFL as an Advisor

AMERICAN FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE ANNOUNCES THAT WINNER DANNY WUERFFEL WILL JOIN THE LEAGUE TO ADVISE ON FOOTBALL OPERATIONS

NEW YORK (Oct. 31, 2018) – Today the American Flag Football League (AFFL) announced the addition of Heisman Trophy winning Danny Wuerffel to its Advisory Board. AFFL Advisors work with the League on a variety of matters, including football operations and player development. Mr. Wuerffel’s illustrious football career includes winning the National Championship at the in 1996, the with the in 2000, and first and second round games with the Gators United in last year’s AFFL US Open.

“Getting back on the field last year with some of my Gator teammates was a tremendous thrill. Playing in the AFFL, I was so impressed by the level of talent displayed by athletes from all walks of life. I look forward to working with the AFFL to showcase these compelling players,” said Wuerffel.
