Captain Kathy Rinaldi named 2017 US Open and Australian Open semifinalist and world No. 10 CoCo Vandeweghe, 2017 US Open Champion and world No. 13 Sloane Stephens , No. 59 Shelby Rogers and No. 70 Alison Riske to the U.S. team . Vandeweghe, Rogers, and Riske were all part of the Fed Cup team that swept Germany, 4-0, earlier this year in the first round in Maui. Vandeweghe and Rogers both competed in the semifinal against the Czech Republic in Tampa Bay, Fla.
