Badgers, foxes, hares, rabbits, hedgehogs and polecats are all regularly recorded as road casualties in Derbyshire and one of the potential conservation benefits of the current DMG atlas project is that mapping may highlight accident black spots, enabling measures for reducing accidents to be considered where appropriate.
