2. Why is my phone screen red (especially with a white background) and why are the colors too bright?

5. Why does the screen/bottom of the screen of the Huawei Mate 8 look yellow/dark?

Answer to one-to-one question by users on the hotline: Have you ever enabled the Eyesight protection function? If you have, the problem will be solved by restoring the phone to factory settings. (When Eyesight protection is enabled, the phone's screen will turn yellow. To avoid users accidentally enabling the Eyesight protection function and mistaking the yellow tone for a defective screen, we have removed the Eyesight protection function since version B116.) If the startup process is interrupted when you power on your phone for the first time, the encryption process will be disrupted and your phone will display an encryption failure warning. You can fix the problem by resetting your phone. If the problem persists after you have reset your phone, please go to an authorized Huawei service center for an update. 7. Why does the Huawei Mate 8's screen look tilted with the built-in theme?

There are several built-in themes in the Huawei Mate 8 that may make you feel the screen is tilted, especially when there is a rectangular box displayed on the screen, such as the Baidu search box or the time box. This is because the built-in themes have curves at the top and bottom of the screen, which creates an optical illusion. The actual screen is not tilted. The curves on the built-in wallpapers are designed to match the CD pattern on the shell of the phone. The orderly arranged curves on the wallpaper help accentuate the screen's ability to display details. It is recommended that you download a theme without lines and try again.

8. How do I update my Huawei Mate 8?

12. What do I do if my phone's screen is slow to respond or does not respond accurately? Please make sure the operating system on your phone is updated to the latest version. If you are using a protective cover or other accessories, the screen may not function properly. Using the screen with gloves on, dirty hands, pointy objects, or fingertips may cause the screen to malfunction. When your ear or another object blocks the proximity sensor near the receiver, the screen automatically turns off to prevent misoperations. When attaching a screen protective film, please make sure the proximity sensor is not covered. Protective films that are not very transparent may cause the proximity sensor to malfunction. 18. Data are automatically encrypted and decrypted as you use the phone. Thanks to the excellent processing performance of the Kirin 950, the whole encryption/decryption process is so fast that users will not even notice it. Even when users need to export data from the phone, the decryption is transparent and it happens in real time. The user experience will not be affected. The encryption module is FIPS certified to ensure the eMMC can protect users' privacy at the hardware level. 3) Why is full-disk encryption turned off after an update? The full-disk encryption on your phone is turned on before delivery, but if you apply an update from a microSD card (a non-OTA package), full-disk encryption will be turned off. It can be turned on again if you restore factory settings (factory level or user level) and format the internal storage. 22.
