Duchesne High School Presents Music by RICHARD RODGERS Book and Lyrics by OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II Lily Stassi is a senior, and this is the eighth theater production she has been in at Duchesne. She has been performing in plays and musicals since age 9 and has been in a total of 14 productions since then. Along with theater, Lily is also involved in Royal Impressions choir and student ambassadors. She would like to thank all of her friends and family for helping her gain the confidence to finally audition for the lead role in a musical. She would also like to thank her fellow cast members for making this another fun and memorable show, and also her family and friends for supporting her and watching her perform. Enjoy the show! Friederich Owen is excited for everyone to see the show. You’ve probably never seen him on stage before, but that’s because he’s never performed there. He prefers to spend his time up in the Tech Booth. He was the Assistant Light Designer for “A Play About A Dragon” and has been the Head Light Designer for “The Drowsy Chaperone,” “A Murder Is Announced,” and “Meet Me in St. Louis.” He has also student directed “Midsummer/Jersey”, “The 39 Steps” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie”. However, this year he decided to try acting for a change. He’d like to thank his family for always supporting him and helping him work through everything. He would also like to thank Mrs. Owen for giving him the chance to act. He would also like to thank all of his friends, especially Maggie Dultz for always being there for him, even when things are rough. Lastly, he would like to dedicate his performance to Mr. White, who taught him how to have fun singing. Bobbie Bailey has appeared in eleven musicals, four at Duchesne High School, and seven at DaySpring Arts & Education School. Bobbie would like to thank her parents for supporting her acting ambitions, Mrs. April and Mrs. Nancy at DaySpring for sharing the love of the arts with her, and friends for helping her to keep a positive attitude. Claire Choinka would like to welcome you to the Duchesne production of Cinderella. Before Cinderella, she was Mrs. Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Titania in Midsummer/Jersey and The Professor in The 39 Steps. She also worked as props crew head and worked on the set. She would like to thank her friends for making the long hours at school bearable, and her cast for making the rehearsal process enjoyable. She would also like to thank all the fast food restaurants nearby for provided countless dinners, not for free, of course. Claire hopes you enjoy the show! Sarah Whitlock is very excited to welcome you to Duchesne High School’s production of Cinderella. Sarah is currently a junior at Duchesne. This is her fifth performance at Duchesne. Other than acting, Sarah is the head of costume crew. Besides theatre, Sarah is also a Student Ambassador, a member of iTeam, an officer for the music department and a member of Royal Impressions. She would like to thank Mrs. Owen and Mr. Adelman for spending their time to make this show great. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for making this such a wonderful show to be a part of. Kai is so excited to welcome you to this year production of Cinderella. This is Kai’s third year of doing the musical with Duchesne and during her grade school years she has been a part of the school’s annual musical production for two years. She is also a student ambassador for Duchesne. She would like to thank her mom and dad for always supporting her and taking her from and to practice, as well as her sister Kekoa for always supporting and give her advice, she would also like to thank her friends and her music department family for always being there and for always being by her side through the stress and hardships of the practices and school. Mason Brown is happy to bring you “Cinderella”! You may remember Mason from his role as Lyle in “Midsummer/Jersey”, Bun Foo from “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, and the Announcer from “The 39 Steps”, as well as from previous plays, where he worked the lights up in the tech booth. Mason is also a member of the Duchesne Improv Troupe and captain of the Duchesne Speech Team. Outside of school, Mason likes to play video games and watch YouTube. Lastly, Mason would like to thank his fellow cast and crew members, Mrs. Owen, and his parents for encouraging him throughout these past few months. He hopes you enjoy the show! Lacy Wilkison is very excited to welcome you to Duchesne’s production of Cinderella. She is a junior at Duchesne. This is her 5th production at Duchesne. You might recognize her as Nikki from Midsummer/Jersey, Gloria from Thoroughly Modern Millie, Annabelle from The 39 Steps, and from Meet Me in St Louis. Lacy is also a member of the Royal Impressions, student ambassadors, disc golf, and she is also a mentor. Lacy would like to thank Mrs. Owen and Mr. Adelman for all their hard work on the show. She would like to thank her family for supporting her. She also would like to thank her friends for putting up with her on late rehearsal nights. She hopes you enjoy the show. This is Gabe. He is a freshman here at Duchesne, and is very excited for the show. He has been in seven other shows, his first one being The Wizard of Oz here at Duchesne when he was in fourth grade. Other than musicals, he is involved in choir and jazz band, runs cross country, and is trying out for the baseball team. He is very happy that you are coming to the musical, and is thankful for all the support he has gotten. Charles Owen welcomes you to the Duchesne High school production of Cinderella. Charles was very excited for this year’s musical. Previous productions he has been in include Ching Ho in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Athens from a Midsummer Jersey and Sound effects in The 39 Steps a Live Radio Play. He would like to thank his friends, family, God, and Fried for all the car rides to school for supporting him through this show. He hopes you enjoy the show. Lucy Dwyer is happy to welcome you to the Duchesne production of Cinderella. Last year, Lucy was part of the set crew in the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie. This year, she was in the play, The 39 Steps. Lucy is glad to be a part of both the cast and prop crew. She enjoys playing video games and drawing digital artwork. She wishes you have a wonderful time watching the show. Michael Weber is a freshman who is excited to be in the musical. This is the first musical that he will be in. He is a part of the choir, and ping pong club. In his free time, he enjoys singing, skiing, and playing video games. Ryan McKelvey is proud to welcome you to Duchesne production of Cinderella. Ryan is a junior here at Duchesne this is his first production he is a active member of his youth group, disc golf bowling, and a volunteer at his local food pantry. He also has an older brother named Shane and a younger sister named Sophia. He would like to give special thanks to his Mom and Dad for sharing Ryan’s time. Krysta Flores Azurdia would like to welcome you to Duchesne’s production of Cinderella. She is a freshman at Duchesne High School and this is the first time that she participates in theater. She is in scholar’s academy, cheer, volleyball, soccer, and has now joined theater. She loves to draw, do physical activity, and get good grades. She hopes you enjoy the show. Welcome to Cinderella at Duchesne High school. Amanda is a freshman and she loves acting. She has been in Shrek the musical, Elf, the Lion King, at her old school. At Duchesne she did the 39 steps. She hopes you enjoy the show. Trinitee Rainee would like to welcome you to Duchesne’s production of Cinderella. She is a freshman at Duchesne High School and she likes to sing. This is her first time doing a musical and has participated in two plays before. She would like to play soccer and basketball for Duchesne. Her favorite color is red and her favorite food is pizza. She is a very fun person to be around and has a great sense of humor. She hopes you enjoy the show. Violet is very excited and would like to welcome you to Duchesne’s premier of Cinderella. It is her second year here at Duchesne and her very first time being in a show. Her favorite things about the show are spending time with her friends and trying new things. She is also apart of band, softball, and D&D group. Violet would like t thank her family and her friends for supporting her through the long nights. Josh Guiot would like to welcome you all to Duchesne’s production of Cinderella. Josh is the Co-Student Director and this is his first time doing anything in theatre. Josh is secretary of iTeam, a student ambassador, and competes in ACES. Josh would like to thank his cast and crew members, and the director, for being patient with him through this learning process.
