Facts and Information FACTS AND INFORMATION Trisara has become a landmark since it opened in November 2004. Phuket Island’s most exclusive, intimate resort is located over a private bay just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport on the quiet, relatively undeveloped northwestern coastline. The short drive from Phuket Airport is a beautiful introduction to the “real” Phuket, winding through small villages, jungle and beaches before arriving at the resorts discreet entrance, which is hidden by towering ancient hardwoods. Trisara’s owners are also the manager’s and we were the driving force behind all design decisions. We are passionate about service, food and attention to detail, something too often overlooked lost in today’s world. The gently sloping contours of the site have been developed to allow all villas to embrace wide ocean views, sunsets and the cooling sea breezes that flow throughout the property. The resort’s 48 pool suites and villas, guest facilities and two to six bedroom residential villas sit within 40 acres of gardens that rise gently from the 2,000 meters of absolute ocean frontage, with all accommodation offering a sense of total privacy from lush tropical gardens. The property is well secured as there is only one protected and guarded road entrance. ACCOMMODATION Overlooking Trisara’s bay and beach are 48 (one and two bedroom) hotel pool rooms, pool suites and pool villas, plus 20 magnificent privately owned 2 – 6 bedroom Residences, which are available for rental with private staff and kitchens. HOTEL POOL VILLAS and POOL ROOMS 48 individual pool villas, pool suites and pool rooms, all with private infinity pools that embrace views of the Andaman Sea. A truly unprecedented sense of privacy exists in all accommodation. 22 individual one bedroom Pool Villas offer 240 square meters of total space, including the private 10- meter infinity pool, teak sundecks, outdoor shower and 96 square meter bedroom. The pool villas are categorized as either oceanfront (lower level) or ocean view pool villas (one level higher), although all are the same size / design with beautiful views with great privacy. 12 Ocean View Pool Rooms are set higher above the ocean view pool villas, all enjoying expansive sea views. The pool rooms consist of a total area of 117 square meters, including the 50 square meter air- conditioned bedroom, outdoor deck and the 4 meter infinity plunge pool. Each Pool Room has a private entrance walkway and shares one common wall with the adjoining Pool Room. Two Pool Rooms together can be rented as one 2-bedroom unit for families as many of them connect, and the partition separating the two pool decks can be removed. 3 Ocean View Pool Suites sit higher above the bay with wonderful open sea views. These 230 square meter suites comprise the private bedroom with en-suite and outdoor shower, and a separate living room that can be closed off with sliding doors, with its own bathroom. This living room easily converts to allow up to 2 children to use this as a second bedroom. A 9-meter infinity pool and open decks make this suite perfect for couples or families. 2 x Two Bedroom Oceanfront Pool Villas are situated directly above the bay, with incredible views and privacy. These Villas consist of two bedrooms, either side of a central living and dining area, all under one roof. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The central living areas leads out to the pool decks and 10-meter private pool. These are Trisara’s most private villas and have the most open sea views. Perfect for small families. 1 8 x Trisara Signature Villas are surrounded by lush tropical gardens which open over the pool to the seaview. On either side of a central living and dining pavilion sits the 2 main bedrooms, which also have private access to the pool and decks outside. The large 18 meter private infinity pool and open teak decks house outdoor living and dining furniture, with views to the sea. The villa is equipped with the full kitchen and the services of a dedicated cook and housekeeper. Thoughtful details in all accommodation include oversized bathtubs, silent air-conditioning, outdoor showers, separate, plasma / LCD screen TVs, DVD players, surround sound stereo and complimentary WIFI / high-speed broadband. All rates at Trisara included private car limousine transfers to and from Phuket airport, plus daily full breakfast for 2 guests. All pool villa, all ocean view 2-6 bedroom Residential Villas Located on both our northern and southern headlands, 20 privately owned residential villas are available for rent as an integral part of the resort. All the residential villas have a fully operational kitchen with dedicated staff including a cook, and consist of between 2 and 6 bedrooms, with large swimming pools and various living and dining pavilions. Most are located directly above the oceanfront, yet some are set higher back with magnificent views. The owners have decorated their residential villas with beautiful artwork and some have added a small gym, a private cinema or a bar, and in general all have beautiful details throughout. The residential villas are available for rent to Trisara guests and are perfect for families, groups of friends and even for private, special events. Guests who rent the residential villas enjoy the resort’s services and facilities and most residential villas are a short walk or quick buggy ride from the main facilities of Trisara. Residential Villa pool and deck 2 The following experiences, services and facilities are presented in the same words we use to guests, who read it in the pool villas. Thailand Golf Travel Nation Spring 2008 Welcome to the spring edition of the Thailand Golf Travel Nation. This newsletter contains original and news breaking stories on the state of golf in Thailand as well as provides useful golf course information, unique golf playing tips for Thailand’s tropical environment, announcements of special golf travel promotions, and our newest subscription offer. The spring golf season is starting in most places and I hope you have had a chance to dust off your clubs and get in some practice and/or initial rounds. Here in Thailand, playing conditions are still excellent an d t h e weather dry, which makes for many days of fine golf weather. However the summer is fast approaching and this will mean the higher temperatures so it might make sense to try to get in some golf here before things heat up too much! There have been some notable Thailand golf news events recently including the opening of a fantastic new golf Pattaya golf course. The Siam Country Club, Plantation Course is by far the most challenging layout in Pattaya, surpassing even Laem Chabang in this category. I played there a few weeks ago and all I can say of this fantastic new golf course is leave your handicap and egos at home. You better be prepared for the hardest test of golf in Pattaya yet! Fast, elevated and well guarded greens are found on most every hole and the putting surfaces seem like they have been molded from potato chips, they are that undulating! In other news, I am very sorry to report that the famous Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket is CLOSED! How can this possibly happen at the #1 golf course in all Thailand? Well apparently legal issues between the ownership and the management company forced the closure.

HOME | GOLF HOLIDAY| GOLF COURSES | GOLF SERVICES | ABOUT US | CONTACT US June 2019 Edition Dear Golf Travelers, Welcome to June 2019 issue of the Asian Golf Nation, the source for news breaking information about golf in SE Asia. Also, unique golf playing tips for Indochina’s tropical environment, insider’s destination review, announcements of golf travel promotions, and our latest subscription offer are all integral parts of today’s newsletter. June is a time of transition whereby the hot, dry days of spring give way to frequent afternoon summer showers. The weather changing from spring to summer has two effects. First, and most important, daytime high temperatures drop from close to 40C to a more comfortable 32C. Cooler weather means more pleasant golf. Secondly, while afternoon rains are heavy and pass in 30 minutes, the showers increase the chance of a wet round if teeing off later in the day. Its good to know this, and given a choice, morning golf is a better option at this time of the year. I have some surprising news. In spite of the Thai Baht is the strongest currency in Asia this year, Golf in Thailand is getting less expensive! Can you believe Chiang Mai green fees are US$35? We had over 100 golfers there last week, including one who made his first hole-in-one. Moreover, on selected days of the week, Bangkok and Pattaya golf courses have special rates too. These savings are in effect until the end of October. Drop me an email if you are interested, and I will send you the details of the cost rollbacks.
