I would like to request that language regarding our KPMG Emmett D. Carson organization, Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network, be included in the County’s Silicon Valley Community Foundation Request for Proposal (RFP) document for a Regional Renewable Power Purchase Barry Cinnamon Akeena Solar Agreement (PPA).     BATTLE AGAINST HIV/AIDS A Look Back at the First Decades of the Santa Clara County Experience Ken Yeager Supervisor, Santa Clara County Ken Yeager has been a Santa Clara County Supervisor since 2006. In 1992, he became the County’s first openly gay elected official when he won the first of two terms on the San Jose Evergreen Community College Board. He followed that with two terms on the San Jose City Council and then three on the Board of Supervisors. He is the co-founder of BAYMEC, Silicon Valley’s leading LGBTQ political advocacy group, and was the first chair of the Santa Clara County AIDS Task Force. Before running for office, Yeager taught at San Jose State University. She asked if electrification service is capped at six trains per direction per hour, will future demand be met, and if this is something that should be looked at in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Roland LeBrun, San Jose, said last month the California High Speed Rail Authority (CHRSA) and Amtrak issued a Request for Information (RFI) for High Speed Rail (HSR) rolling stock. He asked when Caltrain will be issuing a similar RFI for the new electric multiple units that will be able to share common track platform heights with HSR and Amtrak. The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Programming and Allocations Committee is meeting next week and the Consent Calendar has an item for $10 million in project cost changes for both the Communications-based Overlay Signal System (CBOSS) and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency’s (SFMTA) Rail Replacement Part B.
