Me-TV Announces Affiliation Agreements with KWSD, Sioux Falls, WIBW, Topeka & WHSV, Harrisonburg

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Melissa Kennedy 312.705.2649 Me-TV announces affiliation agreements with KWSD, Sioux Falls, WIBW, Topeka & WHSV, Harrisonburg 9.4.2012 – Chicago, Illinois – The Me-TV Network announces three new affiliation agreements, which include the primary channel position on KWSD in Sioux Falls, South Dakota (DMA #113). The Me-TV Network will replace The CW Plus and will be seen on channel 36.1, as well as local cable and satellite channels beginning September 10, 2012. “We are proud to bring Memorable Entertainment Television to the Sioux Falls market,” said Jim Simpson, CEO of JF Broadcasting. “It’s a great way to bring more quality programming to our channel and I’m looking forward to its success on our air.” WIBW, Topeka, Kansas (DMA #136) will launch Me-TV on channel 13.2, t beginning September 10, 2012. WHSV will launch Me-TV in Harrisonburg, Virginia (DMA # 178) on channel 3.4, beginning September 24, 2012. “Gray Television is excited to be adding Me-TV to our stations in both the Topeka and Harrisonburg markets. With the popularity and success we are having with the three Me-TV affiliates already in our fold, we are excited about continuing that success in these two markets. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with Me-TV,” said Greg Conklin, Programming Director, Gray Television. "As Me-TV’s clearance level approaches 85%, we welcome two additional strong Gray Television affiliates as well as our new primary affiliate serving Sioux Falls," stated Neal Sabin, President of Content and Networks for Weigel Broadcasting Co. The Me-TV Network now clears 83% of the country, serving 1365 affiliates. Me-TV features a wide range of programming which audiences and advertisers find comfortable and engaging. Me-TV’s library includes almost 100 series from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, CBS Television Distribution, NBCUniversal Television as well as many independent series owners and producers. Me-TV’s line-up include some of the most beloved television programs ever produced, including: M*A*S*H, The Brady Bunch, The Beverly Hillbillies, Perry Mason, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Gunsmoke, I Love Lucy, and Hawaii Five-O series. List of DirecTV channels (United States) Below is a numerical representation of the current DirecTV national channel lineup in the United States. Some channels have both east and west feeds, airing the same programming with a three-hour delay on the latter feed, creating a backup for those who missed their shows. The three-hour delay also represents the time zone difference between Eastern (UTC -5/-4) and Pacific (UTC -8/-7). All channels are the East Coast feed if not specified. High definition Most high-definition (HDTV) and foreign-language channels may require a certain satellite dish or set-top box. Additionally, the same channel number is listed for both the standard-definition (SD) channel and the high-definition (HD) channel, such as 202 for both CNN and CNN HD. DirecTV HD receivers can tune to each channel separately.
