The A’s also agreed to terms with left-handed pitcher Ty Damron (15th round, Texas Tech) and catcher Collin Theroux (32nd round Oklahoma State). Shore was a First Team All-America selection by numerous organizations and Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year this year. He went 12-1 with a 2.31 ERA and .215 opponents batting average in 18 starts with Florida. The right- handed junior had 96 strikeouts and just 19 walks in 105.1 innings. Damron went 4-2 with a 6.52 ERA in 14 games, 13 starts for Texas Tech. Theroux is from San Mateo and graduated from Serra HS.
