Challenge - WEHT was covering a breaking news story that took an unexpected turn and required live video capture and transmission. WEHT needed a portable and reliable broadcast solution for breaking news coverage
Solution - TVU transmitters & TVU Anywhere There was a bus on its way from Atlanta to STL and after a collision and lengthy delay in Nashville, the WEHT Chief Photographer armed only with his phone, as the TVU transmitters were on other assignments that day, went to the bus station to report on the accident. While there, he met a young man who was on his way to STL to play basketball for over 100 college scouts. The station Chief Photographer offered to give the young man a ride from Nashville to STL. Public Safety Law Enforcement TVU Solutions Used: TVU transmitter, TVU receivers
Challenge - A major law enforcement agency was searching for a solution to augment its surveillance capabilities in order to better respond to incidents in real-time. The solution needed to be portable, lightweight and could easily be used in the field
Solution - They deployed multiple TVU transmitters to provide footage in real-time to its Emergency Operations Center (EOC), as well as to tactical commanders in the field. During large-scale incidents, such as protests, the Agency would use a team of 12 specially trained officers to move through crowds and transmit live video to the EOC
