Central Ohio Leadership Academy Celebrates Their 2018 Class A New Class of Central Ohio Students Get a Life-Changing Opportunity
Columbus, OH: Congratulations to our newly accepted class for the Central Ohio Leadership Academy (COLA). COLA’s flagship program will be held July 23-28, 2018. The flagship program will bring more than 50 high school juniors and seniors, representing 37 schools from 20 districts together from across central Ohio together as they collectively work to develop their leadership effectiveness.
COLA creates life-changing experiences for our community’s young leaders, cultivating leadership skills; enabling students to work with others, lead with purpose, and make positive changes in their schools and communities. Since its founding in 2011, COLA has impacted the lives of more than 350 students from 86 different high schools throughout central Ohio.
There is no question that after the week-long intensive program, students’ motivation to act and make a difference is at an all-time high. The continued programming throughout the school year also provides a means for students to receive positive reinforce, essential inspiration, mentorship, accountability and continued skill development.
