It also happened in 1971 (Walt Wesley and Butch Beard), 1980 in a quadruple-overtime game (Randy Smith and Dave Robisch) and 1991 (Brad Daugherty and Larry Nance).

LUE IN CHARGE: Cavaliers Head Coach Tyronn Lue was named the NBA Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for games played in October and November. It marked the first time Lue has earned Coach of the Month accolades and the 14th time in franchise history a coach has won the honor. Lue led the Cavaliers to the best record in the East during October and November at 13-3 (.813). D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE - CANTON CHARGE

CHARGE GET OVER .500 AFTER ROUT OF ERIE: The Canton Charge (9-8), powered by the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, led by as many as 29 en route to a 123-106 road victory over the Erie BayHawks (5-12) on Friday night. The win was Canton’s fifth in their last six games.

A monster first quarter saw Canton net 41 points on 13-of-17 from the field (77%) and by hitting all five three-point attempts. With the game tied 9-9, the Charge went on a 12-3 run and never looked back for their second win in as many matchups with the BayHawks so far in the young season. The game was won inside the paint, where Canton tied a franchise record for team rebounds with 61 and broke a franchise record with 22 offensive boards. The Charge also outscored Erie inside, 66-38.

Canton was led by Eric Moreland’s monster double-double of 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting to go along with 19 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 36 minutes. John Holland led all scorers with 31 points on 5-of-8 from three-point range with five boards in 36 minutes. Chris Evans netted 24 points with eight rebounds in 29 minutes. Quinn Cook added 20 points and six assists in 37 minutes. Gerald Beverly came off the bench to grab 13 rebounds with seven points in 26 minutes.

ROCKIN’ THE Q: The Cavs sold out all 41 regular season home games in 2015-16, the third time in franchise history the team has accomplished that feat (2009-10 and 2014-15). THE CAVS ON LA MEGA 87.7 FM: Veteran broadcaster Rafael Hernández Brito, known as Rafa "El Alcalde", continues to bring his high-energy play-by-play style to each game in Spanish on the Cavaliers broadcast on LA MEGA 87.7 FM. La Mega 87.7 FM will continue to broadcast all 82 regular season games and all preseason and postseason games in Spanish. The 2016-17 season is the third in franchise history that Cavaliers games are covered in a second language.

Each Cavaliers broadcast begins with a 15-minute pregame show, hosted by Hernández Brito, which sets the scene for the game, including the latest news about the Cavs and the NBA. Following the game broadcast, he also hosts the postgame show, which features a complete recap with highlights and postgame commentary.

Nationally, Hernández Brito’s broadcasting experience includes 8 years as the voice of NFL football for Spanish Broadcasts on Univision from 2005 to 2013, and he has worked 11 Super Bowls. He was also the Spanish play-by-play voice of the Miami Dolphins, as well as handling the play by play for Major League Baseball, boxing and UFC. Rafa has covered the last five Soccer World Cups. CAVALIERS AND WARRIORS PRESENTED KIDS WITH GIFTS PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS DAY GAME: ‘Tis the season to spread good cheer, and the Cavs did just that for a group of Cleveland-area children on Sunday. The Cavs welcomed to the game 32 kids (ages 8-12) from the City of Cleveland Recreation Department for a “Christmas Day Gift Giveaway.” The participating kids took the floor with both the Cavs and Warriors for the national anthem. Following the anthem, the players and head coaches from both teams gave the kids their presents. Each child received a brand-new Chromebook and a Cavs Fathead. With new gifts in hand, the kids and their chaperones enjoyed the Cavs-Warriors matchup in suites provided by the Cavs. The team also provided transportation for the group to and from The Q that day. The Christmas Day Gift Giveaway was part of a NBA-wide initiative.
