In 2003, Pensy became a full-time member of the Florida State athletics staff as an Information Technology Manager. Some of his duties at FSU include technical support for the department, website maintenance and editor of the Seminole Dispatch, FSU athletics weekly online newsletter. Pensy, who is also handling the Internet broadcasts for FSU Volleyball, is the producer for the Seminole Radio Network football broadcasts. For the second straight season, Pensy will be joined by color analyst Jamie Hovda. An assistant coach from 2002-2004 with the women’s basketball program at Wake Forest, Hovda moved to Tallahassee in 2004 to pursue his Ph.D at Florida State. A native of Garner, Iowa, Hovda earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Pepperdine Jamie Hovda University in 2000 and a master’s degree in health and exercise science from Wake Forest in 2002. A former student-athlete himself, Hovda was a four-year member of Pepperdine’s cross country team, serving as captain for two seasons and earning Academic All-Conference honors four straight years. He married the former Maggie Davis, a medical student at FSU, in June. 8 2 0 0 5 - 0 6 w o m e n ’ s b a s k e t b a l l media information
