â€˜Fuller Houseâ€™ Season 3 Celebrates 30 Years of Tanners 09.19.2017 Netflix's nostalgic trailer for season three of Fuller House debuts 30 years after the launch of the original Full House on ABC. In the spot, DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) remarks on how amazing it is that they all still live together, and in the same house in which they all grew up. "Usually, when you're still living in your parents' house after 30 years, you'd be considered a bunch of losers," Kimmy (Andrea Barber) points out. "But we don't pay rent, so we're winners," Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) replies. TouchÃ©. The Full House spinoff follows veterinarian and recently widowed DJ living in her childhood home with younger sister and aspiring musician Stephanie and lifelong best friend and fellow single mother Kimmy. The women reunite to help support one another as they navigate careers, parenting and relationships with the kind of love and humor you can only get from the people you knew as a kid. The house is fuller than ever with DJ's three boys - the awkward 13-year-old Jackson, neurotic 7-year-old Max and baby Tommy Jr. - along with Kimmy's feisty teenage daughter Ramona and Kimmy's not-so-estranged ex-husband Fernando all under the same roof. The trailer features the three girls reminiscing about the day Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier) moved in with Danny (Bob Saget) to help him raise his three girls-and they return for a family reunion-wearing the same clothes they donned in the 1987 pilot. "Actually, I'm the only one wearing the same outfit," Uncle Jesse quips. "These guys got bigger sizes." Meanwhile, Stephanie has fallen in love with Kimmy's brother, and D.J. is a bridesmaid in Steve's wedding. "Which is fine, if you happen to hate fairy tales and happy endings," Kimmy says. She recently returned to the same role in Netflix’s highly anticipated spinoff, “Fuller House.” Netflix renewed the series for a second season just five days after the series premiered and it has had continued success, garnering a third season pick up. The return of “Fuller House” has been a favorite across numerous generations and the series has won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Premium Comedy Series, the Kids Choice Award for Favorite Family TV Show and the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Comedy in 2016, 2017 and 2018. “Fuller House” was also nominated for Choice TV: Chemistry. Sweetin also stars with her actress friends Beverley Mitchell and Christine Lakin in the POP TV unscripted comedy “Hollywood Darlings,” which has already had two successful seasons. In addition to co-starring, Sweetin serves as co-executive producer on the project. In 2016, Sweetin was the third most Googled actress and the sixth most searched on Yahoo. #TBT: 'Full House' 04.23.2015 Netflix has made the rumors official: the Tanners are back! The streaming service has ordered 13 episodes of a sequel series, Fuller House, focusing on D.J. Tanner and best friend Kimmy Gibbler. The story will take a similar turn as the original series, with Stephanie Tanner and Gibbler moving in with D.J. to help take care of her two sons and baby on the way. Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber are all set to reprise their roles as D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy, and John Stamos -- sans mullet, unfortunately -- will act as executive producer and guest star as Uncle Jesse. The series won't premiere until 2016, so until then, sit back, relax and re-live what life was like in that San Francisco house in the late '80s. 1987: ABC promoted new series Full House along with I Married Dora and Max Headroom.
