Barry served on the Executive for 18 years. Brian Davies is the newest Forest Hall WSC stages memberspectacular of the NEC fundraiser
Forest Hall Workmen’s Social Club in Newcastle-upon-Tyne held a spectacular fundraiser in aid of a local youth football team in February with over 320 members packing into the club’s concert hall to enjoy music from the Royal Fusiliers Marching Band and the Lorraine Crosby Band. Club Steward Claire Pattie said: “It was a brilliant club night and our Concert Room was totally full with members enjoying a pretty diverse musical offering. “We raised over £800 for Forest Hall Young People’s Football Club – which the social club has strong links to – as well as doing a separate collection in aid of fallen Fusiliers which raised £310. “The club would also like to thank Heineken for their support for the event which saw them donate a keg of John Smith’s for the night.” Netherton SC stalwart Norman receives COM Norman Rosemurghy of Netherton SC receives his Certificate of Merit.
