Mr. Larsen has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry managing, estimating and engineering the construction of billions of dollars’ worth of major infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, viaducts, subways, railroads, dams, tunnels and airports. Mr. Larsen became a partner at Halmar Builders of New York in 1996. In 1997 Halmar Builders was ranked 12th largest highway contractor and 7th largest bridge builder in the nation. In 2000, Mr. Larsen became leader of Halmar Builders. Soon after in 2001 he helped engineer the merger of Halmar Builders of New York with Granite Construction Company. As part of the new Granite Halmar Construction Company, Mr. Larsen became the Northeast Regional Manager and helped build the new organization into the largest operating unit with several successful contracts. In 2005, Mr. Larsen established Halmar International along with Paul Atkins. Today, Halmar International operates as a full-service construction company, providing wide range of construction services to major agencies like MTA, NYCDOT, NYCDEP and PANYNJ. Halmar’s legacy of successfully completed projects delivered on-time and budget grace the Northeast landscape. Halmar projects are guided by a seasoned management team with five decades of project management experience and success to draw on. Since its founding, LIUNA has helped millions of hard-working men and women in many different sectors of the economy build better lives for themselves and their families. Mr. O’Sullivan serves as Chairman of the Board of the LIUNA Charitable Foundation (LCF), which raises money to fund research into the diseases that are the major causes of illness and death among Laborers, their families, and the communities in which they live. On the football field, Diehl was one of the most versatile and best value draft picks in Giants history. As a 5th round pick, he went on to win 2 Super Bowls, selected to both the Pro Bowl and All Pro, and finished his career with 164 games started which is the 12th most in the history of the New York Giants and the most by an offensive lineman in history.
