EFFINEX stalked outside a rival then bid three deep leaving the firstturn, stalked again a half mile out, re-bid three deep on the second turn, hadthe winner slip away leaving that turn, lacked the needed response in thestretch and was edged late for second. IMPERATIVE chased outside a rival, wentthree deep Melatonin midway on the second turn and four wide leaving that turn and intothe stretch and bested the others. POINT PIPER settled inside then outside arival, came out leaving the second turn and five wide into the stretch andimproved position. DONWORTH pulled hard under a hold and stalked inside, tugged hisway up along the rail leaving the backstretch, steadied and clipped heels intothe second turn, remained inside and weakened in the drive.
