    CRITICAS DE CDS Mystic Prophecy Título Regressus (2003) Sello Nuclear Blast Enésimo trabajo del joven guitarrista Gus G. (Dream Evil, Firewind) que pronto aparecerá en el "Libro Guinness de los Records" por ser el individuo capaz de grabar más discos en menos tiempo y con grupos distintos aunque de sonido muy similar. Esta vez, con Mystic Prophecy, grupo que reúne músicos de estilos tan dispares como pueden ser R.D. Liapakis (vocalista de Valley's Eve), Dennis Ekdahl (batería de Raise Hell) y Martin Albrecht (bajo en Stormwitch). "Regressus" es el segundo trabajo de esta banda-proyecto-orgía (ya no sé como catalogar este tipo de reuniones), y aunque no me convence en demasía, realmente es una buena evolución respecto su primer álbum titulado "Vengeance". Tenemos un correcto trabajo (sin brillar tampoco) de Martin al bajo, un Dennis Ekdahl que cuando mejor suena es en los cortes más agresivos y que se acercan más a su música con Raise Hell, un señor Liapakis que aun tener una buena voz melódico-rota es demasiado constante tonalmente hablando durante todo el disco, hecho que hace que llegue a cansar oírle tanto. En cuanto a Gus, cumple con lo mínimo, aplicando la clásica ley del mínimo esfuerzo, con cortos solos y generalmente no muy virtuosos, por lo que este mismo disco grabado con cualquier otro vulgar guitarrista, poco se hubiera notado. Comparando pues este disco con los tantos otros de Power actuales, tenemos que sin ser nada del otro mundo es un buen trabajo, pero siendo conocedores de la gente que compone este grupo, lo tendremos que catalogar como uno más para poner en el currículum y avanzar a paso firme hacia el Guinness, aunque el récord no sea de envidiable calidad.
