The GP Tek front wheel weighs only 1.7 kg and the rear wheel is 2.4 kg (depending on fitment), with specialised carbon fibre used to tailor the cornering stiffness. The hubs are made using 6000 grade air- craft aluminium; the fasteners are grade 5 titanium; RFID tag trace- ability throughout its lifespan; and a serviceable coating between the tyre and rim that protects the wheel from damage during tyre changing. The Torque Tek design is not only strong but also very light – tipping the scales at 4.80 kg (depending on the fitment).
