It is submitted that the Director of Mines & Geology, A.P., Ibrahimpatam vide reference 1st cited has forwarded the application of M/s.G.M.R.Stone Crushers (Prop.Sri G.Maddllety Reddy), Banaganapalli seeking diversion of forest land to an extent of 2.597 Ha. in compt. No.313 of Gulamaliabad South RF, Dhone Range, Kurnool Division for quarry lease of Road metal. Further, the applicant has also uploaded the proposals in Ministry's web site and the proposal is registered with unique No.FPIAPIQRY/30414/20I7.

Accordingly, the proposals were forwarded to the Divisional Forest Officer, Kurnool vide reference 3'd cited for processing as per the guidelines of Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 through the Conservator of Forests, Kurnool. Subsequently, CCF/Conservator of Forests, Kurnool Circle, Kurnool has submitted the proposals duly recommended for sanction of quarry lease of Road metal through the reference 4th cited.

The following are details of proposals : The user agency has furnished the following information in part-I: \

The proposal is for diversion of 2.597 Ha. forest land in compt.No.313 of Gulamaliabad South RF, Dhone Range, Kurnool Division for grant of quarry lease of Road metal. For locating the project in forest area, the user agency has justified that the proposal is submitted for quarry lease of Road metal, the material is unique in nature with potentiality, strength and it is most useful for masonry in RCC constructions similar deposits are not available in the other areas nearby and only available in the area applied for, lack of vegetation i-n the area applied for one of the maln reasons, so as not to get the tree growth felled to affect ecological problems. The entire area is rocky, hard and fit for excavation of stone deposits. The area proposed in Kurnool District and it is situated in remote area of Rayalaseema area where there is no development. The unit is proposed for providing sulficient employment to the local unemployed youth and other downtrodden people, At present there are no units to extract metal stone in the vicinity of RF.

Employment generation : About 280 (skilled and unskilled) members will be benefitted and no people will be displaced due to this project.

The user agency has identified non forest land for compensatory afforestation over an extent of 2.61 Ha., in sy.No.98/1, 98/2, 98/3, 9B/4 of Kommemarri (Village) of Peapullly (Mandal), Kurnool District which is adjacent to the Devagudipadu RF., The user agency has submitted undertaking to bear the cost of raising and maintenance of compensatory afforestation in identified C.A.land, under taking regarding payment of N.P.V., additional N.P.V., as and when the demand is raised by the Forest Department, if any.

The user agency has submitted the certificate under RoFR Act, 2006, as required under F@ Act, 1980.

The user Agency has submitted the authenticated DGPS surveyed map for the area proposed for diversion. The DFO, Kurnool Division, Kurnool has furnished the information in part-Il as follows :

Area proposed by the User Agency for diversion of 2.597 Ha. in Gulamaliabad South RF, Dhone Range, Kurnool Division for quarry lease of Road metal in favour of M/s.G.M.R.Stone Crushers (Prop.Sri G.Maddilety Reddy) Banganapalle (Village) & (Mandal), Kurnool District. The density of vegetation is 0.10 (Eco-Class-III). The tree species existing in the forest land are 'Nil' as per the proposals furnished by the DFO, Kurnool Division, Kurnool. As per the enumeration list, also, no trees existing the proposed diversion forest land. The DFO stated that no impact of project on the soil erosion on proposed area. 7

The area applied in Gulamaliabad South RF does not fall under wildlife sanctuary/Nationa I Park, Biosphere Reserve, Tiger Reserve, Elephant Corridor ELL. The DFO has inspected the proposed area on 11-07-2018. The DFO has stated that no violation is occurred as per the proposed area. The DFO has stated that non-forest area identified in Kurnool Division of Kurnool Circle over an extent of 2.6L Ha. and prepared compensatory aFforestation scheme with a financial outlay of Rs.24.672 lakh for the period from 2019-20 to 2030-31. The DFO, Kurnool Division, Kurnool has recommended the proposal in part-II. The CF, Kurnool Circle, Kurnool has agreed with the information given in part-Il and the recommendation of the DFO and recommended in part-III. The proposal has been uploaded in Ministry's website and unique no.FP/AP/QRYl304t4/20t7 generated and the acknowledgement slip generated on the web portal is enclosed. Both, the Divisional Forest Officer, Kurnool Division and CCF/Conservator of Forests, Kurnool Circle, Kurnool have recommended the proposal.

The proposals in (4) sets along with required information and maps are furnished herewith duly recommended the proposals in part-IV. The Government are therefore, requested to forward the proposals for sanction of quarry lease of Road metal over an extent of 2.597 Ha., in compartment no.313 of Gulamaliabad South RF, Dhone Range, Kurnool Division in favour of M/s.G.M.R.Stone Crushers (Prop.Sri G.Maddilety Reddy) Banganapalle (Village) & (Mandal), Kurnool District to the Government of India for according necessary approval in the matter.
