Regence offers four provider network options. The choice is yours.

Your employees will receive the highest benefit level and the lowest out-of-pocket costs when they see providers in the network you have selected.

Preferred FocalPoint The FocalPoint network is a focused network geographically centered along the Wasatch Front from Brigham City to Payson. It includes the HCA/Mountainstar hospitals and affiliated providers, the University of Utah Hospital and clinics, as well as other providers. It is the least expensive of the four network options.

In addition to the providers on FocalPoint, it includes the Iasis Hospital system and affiliated providers and groups, as well as a network of rural hospitals and facilities (outside the Wasatch Front). Participating The Participating network is our broadest access network. Like a “network of networks”, when you choose the Participating network it’s like buying all three of the networks above in one complete package. As it includes all of the healthcare providers with whom we contract throughout the state of Utah, it is generally the most expensive network option. The Regence Participating network provides access to all hospitals in the state of Utah.
