Last years event was an outstanding success with the only complaint being in regard to the weather. Well unfortunately we had no control over that, however inside the venue the acts were certainly hot and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The NNCCMF committee would like to thank the Highland Council Homecoming Scotland 2009, who provided us with generous funding to add top Canadian star Michelle Wright to our already impressive line up. Thanks once again also to our local sponsors who came up trumps and supported the festival in these times of economic crisis. This Easter we welcome a crew from MNE media who are covering the festival to produce a series of TV programmes for the Gaelic language channel BBC Alba which will be screened in the autumn. Aside from promoting live country music hopefully it will help boost tourism for Caithness allowing viewers the opportunity to see what our county has to offer. Our line up this year will include some of your favourite acts but others that might not be so well known, however we the committee are sure that you will not be not be disappointed as all the acts have something that guarantees another excellent weekend.
