Terms and Conditions Super Dancer 2 (“Show”) Is a Televised Dance Competition Series Produced by Frames Productions Private Super Dancer 2 Terms and Conditions (Gate) Terms and Conditions Super Dancer 2 (“Show”) is a televised dance competition series produced by Frames Productions Private Limited for Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited and/or its affiliates (“SPN”/”Organizer(s)”). The Show being a dance show, SPN is looking for talented participant(s) between the ages of 4 and 13 (“Participant”) to perform dance acts, choreographed either by themselves or based on a given choreographed act. The purpose of two rounds of pre-audition in Singapore (“Audition”) is to select dancers who can perform dance acts for the Show which may be broadcast/telecast on Sony Entertainment Television Asia (“SET Asia”/ “Channel”) and/or any other channel of SPN, at the sole discretion of SPN. By virtue of the application/registration form duly filled in and completed by the Parent/Guardian of the minor Participant(s) for participation of their wards in the Show, the Parent/Guardian accepts and agrees to the following rules and regulations in addition to the Terms & Conditions put on the website www.setasia.tv and any decisions made by the Organizers to enable the Participant(s) to participate in the Audition: 1. Age: The minimum age limit for participation in the Audition and ultimately the Show is 4 completed years and the maximum age limit is fixed at 13 completed years as on 05 August 2017. Such minors participating in the Audition shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Participant” irrespective of whether such minor has been able to enter the Venue gates and actually participate in the Audition. 2. Concept: The Show aims to find a child prodigy who has the potential to be the future of dance. The Participants will have to send 1-minute video of their dance @[email protected] between July 22, 2017 till July 30, 2017. Upon receipt of all the entries from the Participants, the Organizer will select the best 10 (ten) Participants who will be entitled to participate in the pre- audition which will held in in Singapore at the Venue itself. The judges, at their sole discretion, shall select three (3) winners from the Participants who they think performed the best. The winners’ audition tapes shall be sent to Mumbai where the judges in Mumbai may, at their sole discretion, choose one (1) winner out of the three short-listed Participants (“Pre-Audition Winner”). 3. Venue The Venue for the Auditions will be in Singapore to be held on August 5, 2017 from 10:30am hours till 1pm hours Singapore time is as follows - 10:30am-1pm, Singapore 4. Winner The Pre-Audition Winner along with two (2) adults (Parent and/or Guardian) stands a chance of winning a trip to Mumbai, a visit to the set of the Show and reasonable accommodation (“Prize”). Prize shall mean to include roundtrip economy flight ticket from Singapore to Mumbai, India, hotel accommodation, meals and ground transfers from Airport and hotel for 2 nights and may get a chance to audition for the main Show in Mumbai. The recorded footage of the Pre-Audition Winner will be sent to SPN programming team to be screened for the Show Auditions in Mumbai. 5. Documents for Participation in the Audition: Page | 1 Super Dancer 2 Terms and Conditions (Gate) For enabling the Participant to participate in the Auditions, the Parent or Guardian of the Participant shall bring photocopies and originals of the following documents, as proof of identity, age and residence, at the Audition Venue, wherein such photocopies and the originals should be clear and legible: i. Registration number as received from Organizer during the process of registration; ii. Identity Proof –Passport or IC Card Only ; iii. Age Proof - Passport / Birth certificate; iv. Passport size photographs (1); v. Proof of residence – Passport or IC Card only; Parents/Guardians shall also bring the following documents in support of the Participant’s identity, age and relation to the Parent/Guardian: i. Identity Proof- Passport or IC Card only ii. Age Proof- Passport or IC Card only. iii. Proof of relationship - Passport or IC Card only. For the purpose of participation in the Auditions, it is hereby clarified that the word ‘Parent’ shall mean and signify the parent of the Participant being his or her biological or adoptive Father or Mother. If a Participant is accompanied by a Guardian, then a copy of the order or letter of the relevant government authority appointing such Guardian, as per the relevant provisions of the local laws shall be required. Any claim for legal Guardianship shall have to be established by way of proper documentation and Organizer shall have the sole discretion to decide whether or not to allow such a Participant. Other Family members, relatives or friends and colleagues shall not be allowed entry into the Venue. 6. Other Conditions: i. Only Parents/Guardian will be allowed per Participant inside the Audition Venue gate. ii. Parent/Guardian shall ensure that all true copies of the above documents are provided by them to enable the Participant to participate in the Audition. iii. By virtue of entering the Venue Parent/Guardian agrees that such Parent and the Participant shall be captured on camera and the Organizers shall have the complete authority to use the footage in any manner and form as recorded by the Organizers as they deem fit, for the Show. iv. SPN reserves the right to publically telecast and/or choose the videos of the Audition for which they have all requisite music rights and this shall be at the sole discretion of SPN. v. All Audition videos of the Participants is the property of SPN and will only be shared with any Parent, Guardian or any third party at the sole discretion of SPN. vi. Only the Parent/Guardian and Participant for whom the Parent/Guardian has done the registration and who has been provided with a valid unique identification number shall be allowed for participation in the Audition. vii. The entry for the Audition Venue will close at 10.30 am (Singapore time) and any Participant who fails to report at the Audition along with their Parents/Guardians at the Venue desk shall lose his/her chance to participate. viii. No refreshments or food apart from water shall be provided by the Organizers at the Venue and the Parents/Guardians are requested to carry dry snacks like biscuits / cakes etc. for their child aspirant to participate in the Auditions. ix. Over and above the expenses mentioned in Paragraph 4 above, the Organizers will not be responsible towards any expenses incurred by the Parent/Guardian of the Participant for the Auditions including but not limited to any travel and accommodation expenses incurred by them. x. Decision of the judge(s) are final and cannot be called into question and/or contested for any reason whatsoever. Page | 2 Super Dancer 2 Terms and Conditions (Gate) xi. In light of security at the Venue, the Parent/Guardian may be frisked and belongings physically checked by the concerned security staff of the Organizer. xii. Parents/Guardians shall ensure the safety, security and well-being of the Participant and their belongings, further, the Organizers shall not be in any manner liable for any arrangements, whatsoever. xiii. Parent/Guardian shall ensure that once the Participant enters the Venue gate, the Participant shall abide by the various terms and conditions and requirements and/or agreements as asked for by the Organizers, failing which the Organizers shall have the absolute discretion to disqualify the Participant and Participant along with the Parent/Guardian may be asked to leave the Venue of Audition. xiv. At all times, Parent/Guardian agrees that the decisions of the Organizers shall be final and binding and they shall not have any claim against such decisions taken by the Organizers in respect of the Audition and the Show. xv. Parent/Guardian shall sign and execute all documents and agreements as required by the Organizers to enable the Participant to participate in the Audition and/or the Show. xvi. The Parent/Guardian shall abide by any condition and requirement that Organizers require for the purpose of participation by the Participant including the conditions required by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”), the PDPA Regulations. xvii. The Pre-Audition Winner and his/her Parents/Guardian must have valid passports and travel documents and be responsible for obtaining their visas. They will have to be willing to travel to India/ Mumbai to be a part of the Show on the dates required by the Organizers. Page | 3 .

Lach Dancing Dreams: Performing American Identities in Postwar Hollywood Musicals, 1944-1958 (Under the direction of Peter G. Filene) With the pressures of the dawning Cold War, postwar Americans struggled to find a balance between conformity and authentic individualism. Although musical motion pictures appeared conservative, seemingly touting traditional gender roles and championing American democratic values, song-and-dance numbers (spectacles) actually functioned as sites of release for filmmakers, actors, and moviegoers. Spectacles, which film censors and red- baiting politicians considered little more than harmless entertainment and indirect forms of expression, were the least regulated aspects of musicals. These scenes provided relatively safe spaces for actors to play with and defy, but also reify, social expectations. Spectacles were also sites of resistance for performers, who relied on their voices and bodies— sometimes at odds with each other—to reclaim power that was denied them either by social strictures or an oppressive studio system. I hope that these collaborations continue to strengthen our efforts as we look forward to the next semi-centennial. For 50 years it has been my pleasure and honour to lead CPAA to this point where it is recognised as one of the most successful NGOs working in the field of cancer, not only in India but around the world. While I will continue to helm the organisation along with my partners up to this point, Silloo Jasdanwalla and Rekha Sapru, I envision a new phase for our beloved organisation. In this new phase, we usher in fresh leadership in the form of Ms. Alka Bisen, who takes charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CPAA. Alka brings with her a wealth of experience gained over the last 32 years in cancer support services, financial and emotional counselling and developing partnerships with charitable organisations and corporates to enhance reach within the cancer community. After initially working with CPAA for 18 years, she worked at Cancer Council New South Wales, Australia as Program Manager and Financial Counsellor, overseeing Financial Assistance Services for cancer patients and in acute financial hardship.
