The storms have brought torrential down- pours, thunder and lightning, flash floods, street flooding, and raised the level of the Connecti- cut River as well as other sever- al other stream and brooks. The rains have also caused basement flooding and roof leaks. The De- partment of Public Works has been out working hard to pick up debris and clean out overused and clogged storm drains.

The level of the Connecticut River has risen significantly. The water levels throughout town has caused washouts and minor flooding.
