This scholarship was established to recognize incoming students for their accomplishments in scouting.

Requirements

All Applicants for ETPi Foundation Scholarship Must: 1. Have been granted the Eagle Scout rank or have verified that their application for Eagle Scout rank has been received at the BSA National Office Applicants may verify this by having their local council contact the Epsilon Tau Pi Foundation at [email protected] or photocopy their certificate.
4. Provide a transcript of high school grades covering at least six semesters (The transcript does not have to be “Official”).

5. Have taken the SAT and/or the ACT. Submitted scores must be a copy of an official test sheet, or on the high school transcript in Requirement 4, and must be submitted with the application.

30th. Use sufficient postage. Applicant may also send an electronic copy (word document and scans of necessary material) Submissions of electronic copies must be received by June 30th to be considered.
6. Have and continually demonstrated leadership ability in Scouting, and have a strong record of participation in activities outside of Scouting.

7. Provide a statement by the applicant clearly stating why he believes he deserves an Epsilon Tau Pi Foundation Scholarship (max. 500 words).

Submit all attachments with the application form to ensure that all items are available for review at the same time (Epsilon Tau Pi will not assume responsibility for matching items that are mailed separately).

Rev. 07.2009 EPSILON TAU PI A NATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF EAGLE SCOUTS FOREWARD Epsilon Tau Pi expects excellence in all areas from each of its groups, chapters, and colonies alike. For this reason, Epsilon Tau Pi has set high standard for affiliation. This guidebook explains these standards and provides a “road map” of how a group of students interested in becoming an official chapter of Epsilon Tau Pi should proceed. Three major steps must be accomplished to become a recognized chapter of Epsilon Tau Pi. First, an interest group (at least ten men) must petition and obtain Colony status from the Epsilon Tau Pi Fraternity. Second, the Colony must fulfill all requirements for chartering. Third, the Colony must petition the Fraternity for recognition as an operating chapter in good standing. The U.S. News surveys ask about many aspects of your institution that are important to potential college applicants across the country, other educational intuitions, and the public at large. Survey Deadline: May 10th, 2019 There are 3 steps in the U.S. News data collection process: Step 1: Data - Fill in as much of the survey as possible. Step 2: Assessment - After lling in your data, navigate to the ‘Main Survey Assessment’ section. The assessment runs a comparison between your current data and the data submitted last year. The assessment will identify potential errors between the two years of data. For more information please go to the main assessment section. Step 3: Verication – After reviewing the assessment and xing any remaining errors, navigate to the section titled “Verication”. This is where the survey submission takes place. Please take some time to review your survey data one last time. Who should get involved at Ohio State? Ohio State’s expectation is that every student finds at least one meaningful activity outside of class to complement the things you learn in class. Why should I get involved? When compared to uninvolved students, those who get involved are more likely to get better grades, establish a network of friends, organize their time better, manage their stress more effectively and most importantly—graduate! Getting involved also helps prepare you for your career and enables you to enjoy the Buckeye experience to the absolute fullest! When should I get involved? That’s a decision that’s completely up to you. Many students start getting involved within their first few days on campus, so that they can start meeting people and getting connected. Others wait a few weeks, a couple of months or even a whole semester to get used to classes and establish a schedule for studying, work, exercise, etc. Both are perfectly good strategies, but we recommend getting started within your first six weeks.
