Exporting/Importing References from Databases for Use with EndNote/EndNote Web* Both direct export (‘Open With’) and export file (‘Save File’) options are noted if available. Instructions are written for the Mozilla Firefox browser. Mac Safari users cannot direct export references . *EndNote Web users: Many databases do not have direct export to EndNote Web. References exported from those databases must be saved and imported into EndNote Web as plain text files. (Re)name saved reference files with a *.txt extension before importing into EndNoteWeb.
