Celebrate the arrival of summer with lots of great events and activities geared up to keep young people entertained here in Wyre.

We’ve got events for the tiddlers right through to the teens amongst you and also activities for all the family to enjoy.

Whilst we can ensure you’ll be kept thoroughly entertained over the summer break, we can’t guarantee the sunshine - but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for you!

3 TrySport Summer Scheme - Daytime sessions

Eight to 16 years Monday 23 July to Friday 24 August

FREE community sports and arts session for young people aged eight to 16.

Sessions will take place every Monday to Friday, noon - 4pm during five weeks of the school summer holidays.

Activities will include: break dance, football, skateboarding, handball, dodgeball, ultimate Frisbee, netball, tennis, tag rugby, arts, crafts and many more.

With 2012 being the year of the Olympic Games, the Trysport Summer Scheme will be holding Olympic themed days. These will be:
