The adverts feature Ada Hegerberg, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and amateur players and will run throughout the season to promote inclusion, diversity and accessibility in European Football with the motto "Everyone has the right to enjoy football, no matter who you are, where you're from, or how you play." More information on the campaign and on the advertisements can be found in the accompanying media release and on the campaign website: www.equalgame.com. Dynamo Kyiv are on a run of decent home form in Europe, but would do well not to underestimate Skënderbeu in their UEFA Europa League Group B opener. Previous meetings • The sides are meeting for the first time in UEFA competition, and it is Dynamo's first UEFA encounter with Albanian opposition. • In their only past meeting with Ukrainian opponents, Skënderbeu traded 1-0 home wins with Chornomorets Odesa in the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League play-offs before losing the tie on penalties in Tirana. Form guide • Dynamo are on a three-game winning streak at home in Europe: 6-0, 3-1, 3-1. That last result came against Marítimo in their UEFA Europa League play-off. • Skenderbëu have lost only once in four European away matches this season, from first qualifying round to play-offs for this competition: W1 D2 L1. This sequence includes the 1-1 play-off draw at Dinamo Zagreb that set up their away goals win. • Ukrainian league runners-up in 2016/17, Dynamo reached the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals in 2010/11 and 2014/15, when they last competed in this group stage. • Albanian Cup runners-up last term, Skënderbeu were the first Albanian side to contest a major UEFA group stage when they featured in the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League. Links and trivia • The journey from Korce to Kyiv is around 1,300km. • Skënderbeu's Bakary Nimaga is serving a one-match suspension for this game. • Skenderbëu's Tefik Osmani (Metalurh Zaporizhya 2005–06) and Kristi Vangjeli (Chornomorets 2011–13) have both played league football in Ukraine. The coaches • Hired as coach in July 2017, Aleksandr Khatskevich won seven league titles as a Dynamo player from 1996–2004, and later worked with their youth and reserve teams. The 38-times capped international coached his native Belarus from 2014–16. • Appointed at the start of 2017, Ilir Daja led Skënderbeu to a losing appearance in the Albanian Cup final but then steered them into this group stage. A former midfielder with Tirana, he has guided Elbasan and Dinamo Tirana to domestic championships as a coach. 3 FC Dynamo Kyiv - KF Skënderbeu Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (20.00 local time) Match press kit NSK Olimpiyskyi, Kyiv Team facts FC Dynamo Kyiv Formed: 1927 Nickname: Bilo-Syni (White-Blues) UEFA club competition honours (runners-up in brackets) • UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (2): 1975, 1986 • UEFA Super Cup (1): 1975, (1986) Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) National title: 28 (2016) National cup: 20 (2015) Ten-year European record (UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup unless indicated otherwise) 2016/17: UEFA Champions League group stage 2015/16: UEFA Champions League round of 16 2014/15: quarter-finals 2013/14: round of 32 2012/13: round of 32 (having transferred from UEFA Champions League group stage) 2011/12: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2010/11: quarter-finals (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2009/10: UEFA Champions League group stage 2008/09: semi-finals (having transferred from UEFA Champions League group stage) 2007/08: UEFA Champions League group stage Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 8-0: Dynamo v Barry Town 22/07/98, UEFA Champions League first qualifying round first leg • Biggest away win 1-6: Coleraine v Dynamo 02/09/65, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup preliminary round first leg 0-5: Beşiktaş v Dynamo 14/03/87, European Champion Clubs' Cup quarter-final first leg • Heaviest home defeat 1-4 four times, most recently v AS Roma 27/11/07, UEFA Champions League group stage 0-3 on three occasions, most recently v Lyon 17/10/2006, UEFA Champions League group stage • Heaviest away defeat 5-0 twice, most recently v Juventus 24/09/02, UEFA Champions League group stage UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup • Biggest home win 5-1: Dynamo v Aktobe 29/08/13, play-off second leg 4-0 twice, most recently v MTK Budapest 13/09/89, first round first leg • Biggest away win 1-4 twice, most recently v Beşiktaş 17/02/11, round of 32 first leg 0-3: Rio Ave FC v Dynamo 18/09/14, group stage • Heaviest home defeat 0-3: Dynamo v Anderlecht 04/11/92, second round second leg • Heaviest away defeat 4 FC Dynamo Kyiv - KF Skënderbeu Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (20.00 local time) Match press kit NSK Olimpiyskyi, Kyiv 3-0 twice, most recently v AaB v Dynamo 23/10/14, group stage KF Skënderbeu Formed: 1909 Nickname: Bardhekuqtë (The White and Reds) UEFA club competition honours (runners-up in brackets) • None Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) League title: 6 (2015) Ten-year European record (UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup unless indicated otherwise) 2016/17: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2015/16: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2014/15: UEFA Champions League second qualifying round 2013/14: play-offs (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2012/13: UEFA Champions League second qualifying round 2011/12: UEFA Champions League second qualifying round 2010/11: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2009/10: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2008/09: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2007/08: did not take part in UEFA club competition Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 4-1: Skënderbeu v Crusaders 14/07/15, UEFA Champions League second qualifying round first leg 3-0: Skënderbeu v Sporting CP 05/11/15, UEFA Europa League group stage • Biggest away win 0-5: Sant Julià v Skënderbeu 06/07/17, UEFA Europa League first qualifying round second leg • Heaviest home defeat 0-3: Skënderbeu v Lokomotiv Moskva 10/12/15, UEFA Europa League group stage • Heaviest away defeat 5-1: Sporting CP v Skënderbeu 22/10/15, UEFA Europa League group stage 4-0: APOEL v Skënderbeu 20/07/11, UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup • Biggest home win 3-0: Skënderbeu v Sporting CP (see above) • Biggest away win 0-5: Sant Julià v Skënderbeu (see above) • Heaviest home defeat 0-3: Skënderbeu v Lokomotiv Moskva (see above) • Heaviest away defeat 5-1: Sporting CP v Skënderbeu (see above) 5 FC Dynamo Kyiv - KF Skënderbeu Thursday 14 September 2017 - 19.00CET (20.00 local time) Match press kit NSK Olimpiyskyi, Kyiv Squad list FC Dynamo Kyiv Current season All-time UCL QUAL UEL League UEL UEFA No. Player Nat.
