Clement Stone (CEO and creator of Combined Insurance Company of America) told me that 'It's results that count...everything else is an excuse.' That is a hard statement to lay on any person, group or objective. However, the older I become the greater truth and respect I recognize in that statement. With the above thoughts in mind the survey led me to some additional visionary thoughts for Kendall County, as it is in a unique location advantageous for present and future long-term development. Think of the close proximity of Kendall County to the crossroads of mid America at the intersection of I-80 & I-55. At a radius circumference of only 100 miles of that location, it provides an easy access and short time travel to millions of people to that center point, Kendall County and relative easy access from any place in our county by air, highway, rail and water.
