Secretary of the Actuarial Society of Bangladesh, and other actuarial students in February, 2013 in Mumbai, India to discuss the actuarial profession in Bangladesh. Darryl met with Simone Chen, an with MetLife in Bangladesh to dicsuss ways in which she can help the actuarial community; Simone and Mahfuz Ibn Mannan to meet and brainstorm some ideas. AWB volunteers taught a five-day course covering CT4 in January 2013 - another request for C2 and C5 will be followed up by AWB, but the final arrangements will be made taken into consideration the political situation. 5. Liyaquat met with Mahfuz in February 2014 to review exam activity. Simone Chen has left MetLife, we are seeking new contact. 11 Asia Mongolia of Mongolia Asia New project financed by the Microinsurance Project of Mongolia involves three volunteers going for a week each in March/April 2014 to teach general pricing and reserving and microinsurance, organised through IFoA. 12 Asia Sri Lanka Actuarial Association of Sri Lanka (AASL) Asia Interested in working towards FMA. Darryl Wagner along with Liyaquat Khan, Asia Subcommittee member and nodal person for Sri Lanka met with Mr. M Pooplanathan, Srilanka Association President, in February, 2013 in Mumbai to review the actuarial profession's progress in Sri Lanka. Actively working with the Bima Samiti - the Insurance Regulator, Tribhuvan University and some colleges. Good potential to develop the profession in aboyut 3 to 5 years time. There are actuarial students here and LK is in touch with the Insurance Regulators and other stakeholders. Unfortunately there has not been much progress and LK will try to follow up.

40 ROW Saudi Arabia no association Eurasia and Middle East Liyaquat Khan has been to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on private consulting visit and discussed with local actuaries on 8-9, September, 2013. One University in Riyadh has started offering actuarial course and some actuarial students have started taking exams of FSA, US. The Regulator, Saudi Arabian Monetory Authority provides a very sound framework for actuarial contribution to the insurancve and pensions regulation and this is the time to provide push for actuarial development. Liyaquat proposes to follow this up.
