In addition to being named Rookie of the Year, Ryan led the Falcons to the playoffs. QB Backups: Chris Redman (No. 8, 6-3, 229) – A career backup, the 31-year-old Redman has spent time in Baltimore, New England, Tennessee and now Atlanta. Redman did not appear in a game in 2008. … D.J. Shockley (No. 3, 6-0, 218) – The former Georgia Bulldog has spent three years in the league, but has yet to take a regular season snap. … John Parker Wilson (No. 4, 6-2, 218) – The former Alabama signal caller signed with the Falcons after going undrafted in 2009.
