PACIFIC-ASIA C U R L I N G CHAMPIONSHIPS NOVEMBER 2-9 2017 WORLD CURLING FEDERATION PRESIDENT’s MeSSAGE It has been 21 years since we hosted an international curling event in Australia and I, like you, am very much looking forward to its unique blend of action on the ice and the warm weather to be enjoyed between draws. For our teams in the Pacific-Asia zone, that have already qualified for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, in PyeongChang, Republic of Korea, and those who are looking to qualify through the Olympic Qualification Event, in Pilsen, Czech Republic, this will be the final IT IS MY GREAT chance to prepare for those events. PLEASURE TO The teams will also be battling hard to qualify for the Ford World WELCOME Women’s Curling Championship 2018 in North Bay, Ontario, Canada and the World Men’s Curling Championship 2018 in Las Vegas, United YOU TO THE States.
