RCH Programme Under Govt. of India Under the revised guidelines of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, a Mother NGO is to be allotted only two districts in a State for execution of RCH projects sanctioned by it. Ropar and Mohali districts have, accordingly, been allocated to SOSVA (North)-Punjab. The project of Field NGO in Patiala district was also allotted to SOSVA pending appointment of a Mother NGO for Patiala Distt. The project is being implemented since 1.7.2007 with the first instalment of Rs. 22.50 lacs for each district, for a period of 18 months, in Ropar and Mohali through 6 field NGOs (3 in each district) and with Rs. 7.5 Lacs in district Patiala through one field NGO. Each project has been sanctioned for a period of 3 years. The details of the projects being implemented under the programme are as under: In Distt. Ropar S.
