Our Local Area As part of our geography topic of looking at our local area, both Year 1 classes took a short walk outside school. We saw the different things we see on our routes to school. Unfortunately we had to cancel Tuesday’s KS1 Mini Olympics due to heavy rain. We were very hopeful that Wednesday’s KS2 event would take place and lots of parents came to participate but unfortunately the weather let us down at the last minute! Thank you to the parents who turned up for your understanding and to the children for being such good sports despite the disappointment.
