In addition to bringing attention to the struggles facing families battling childhood cancer, the event raises funds through ticket sales, sponsorship, auction and item sales to provide emotional, educational and financial assistance to children with cancer, their families and survivors. Over the five years of its existence, "An Evening with the Cardinals" has raised more than $1 million to provide crucial support to families in order to improve access to treatment, ensure children who are hospitalized receive visits from their families and ease the financial burden of childhood cancer so families can focus on their sick child.
