Foreword EHF President WE ARE Dear handball friends, We are delighted to welcome you to the last stop on the road to the EHF FINAL4: the EHF Champions A TEAM FOR League Men 2020/21 quarter-finals. What a season it has been so far! We saw 16 teams giving it their all in a thrilling group phase, fighting until the last round in order to improve their ranking ahead of the knockout phase. The play-offs followed with eight intriguing ties, as the quarter-final line-up took shape. EUROPE So, here we are! And while we lost two recent EHF Champions League winners in the play-offs – Lomza Vive Kielce and HC Vardar 1961 – it is fair to say that we have a stunning quarter-final schedule ahead of us, with the first legs scheduled for 12/13 May and the all-decisive return legs for 19/20 May. Germany and France still have two teams each in the mix, and at least one of those four teams will make it to the EHF FINAL4 on 12/13 June as title holders THW Kiel and Paris Saint-Germain Handball will square off in a mouth-watering quarter-final clash, less than five months after both teams competed at the EHF FINAL4 2020 in December. The other German contenders, SG Flensburg-Handewitt, open their quarter-final adventure with a trip to Denmark to face Aalborg Håndbold. The other French side still in the race for the title, HBC Nantes, eliminated Kielce in the play-offs and now face another huge challenge, set to take on Telekom Veszprém HC.

The customer magazine of the sera Group Issue 2017 8,000 km This is how many kilometres our colleagues travelled from the beginning of May until the end of September by bicycle in the course of the North Hesse Bike Challenge 2016. This distance corresponds quite accurately to the distance as the crow flies from our headquarters in Immenhausen near Kassel to Vancouver on the west coast of Canada. An incredible achievement and the victory in the medium-sized companies category! Perhaps they will achieve another 10%, i.e. 800 km, this year? Then they would have cycled all the way to our branch sera ProDos SA (PTY) Ltd. in Gauteng, South Africa! The cycling competition “Bike Challenge North Hesse“, organised by the North Hesse regional management, motivates employees to no longer travel to work by car but to change to a bicycle. The competi- tion thus provides valuable support to make employees healthier and more able-bodied and thus also less susceptible to long-term sickness absences. The competition thus fits in perfectly with our “be sera – be healthy …. be fit” motto of our internal company project for health promotion of the employees. We are proud that many seraners also stepped on the pedals again this year and we are eagerly waiting for the results of the Bike Challenge North Hesse 2017. 2 seranews EDITORIAL Dear Reader, sera has completed another successful year and was able to realise many interesting and challenging pro- jects jointly with its partners and customers. We are very proud of the result, but at the same time we are not rest- ing on our laurels and also want to further develop our company jointly in the future.
