writing from the authors and Editorial board� EDITORIAL VECTOR-BORNE DISEASES: MALARIA, LYMPHATIC FILARIASIS, PLAGUE AND DENGUE Compared with what it was a decade ago, the global malaria situation has early stages of the third plague pandemic in the early 20th century but improved somewhat, with a decrease in the estimated mortality worldwide fortunately did not become established, unlike the
