7 BENEFITS OF HOSTING THE EVENT The Homeless World Cup is an annual four-a-side street football tournament that brings together over 500 players from over 50 countries. The tournament is designed to be competitive, but its special structure means that every player competes until the last day and for a host city it means that there will be eight days of continuous action.

Hosting the Homeless World Cup provides a unique platform to create systemic social change within your city through the power of football. The Homeless World Cup delivers strongly on a broad range of impact areas, in a different way to other sporting events, these include:

These documents will be sent to applicants in August, CANDIDATE PHASE after the finals of the 2019 edition of the event in Cardiff.
