The western region is accessed via the Hume Highway to Seymour and then the Goulburn Valley Highway and the eastern region is accessed via the Hume Highway to Benalla and then via the Benalla Yarrawonga Road. By public transport: V/Line offers daily public transport services from Melbourne; a train to Shepparton and Seymour and a bus from there, or a bus from Melbourne. Countrylink offers services from both Melbourne and Sydney. By air: The Yarrawonga and Tocumwal Aerodromes cater for various small chartered aircraft. Facilities available at the Yarrawonga aerodrome include refuelling services, aircraft maintenance, refurbishment and painting, pilot supplies, flight training and parking (short and long term). Services available at the Tocumwal Aerodrome include fuel, flight training and gliding. Albury Airport is located one hour east of the region, and Qantas Link, Rex and Virgin Blue service the airport. Hire a car or catch a bus from Albury to Yarrawonga Mulwala or Cobram Barooga.
