He leading her softball team to an undefeated 24-0 state went to Purdue University and pitched for 4 years helping the Boilers to 3 championship. Austin Bilke was a right handed pitcher at Beaver Dam and Purdue University. He signed with the Angels in 2002. He made it to AA Erik Cordier is a right handed pitcher from Southern Door. Erik was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2004 draft. Brandon Magee is a Right handed pitcher from Sheboygan. Brandon was drafted in 2006 in the 4th round by the Toronto Blue Jays Dan Gassner was Hortonville graduate & pitcher at Carthage College. Dan is Head Varsity coach at Xavier High School & continues to play for the Greenville Stars. Tony Radichel was a right-handed pitcher at Hortonville High School. Tony is the JV Head Coach at Xavier High School. Tim Kohl was a graduate of Hortonville & UW Stevens Point. Currently he is in his 16th year as head JV Coach at Oshkosh West. Mike Draheim was a graduate of UWO & is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist for Sports Acceleration Fox Valley LLC. And others! The Goldpan- ners operate in a similar manner as a minor league team: playing nightly in stadiums before fans, using wood bats and minor league specification equipment, and also enduring epic road trips by bus. Looking back, it is clear that the program has made a stunning impact on the baseball world. The Goldpanners were pioneers in the promotion of collegiate sports, and rode the strength of the amateur athlete to many victories on and off the field. The Fairbanks club remains dedicated to providing minor league level competition in order to assist in the continuation of the athletes’ careers into the ranks of professional ball.
