Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo has been directed to take over as officer-in-charge “to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operations of the FDA.” Asked about his reaction to Puno’s dismissal, Domingo said the DOH “supports President Duterte’s commitment to eradicate graft and corruption in all government agencies.” According to Palace officials, Duterte had lost trust and confidence in Puno because of corruption issues, details of which Panelo did not share. “This is in line with the President’s continuing mandate to eradicate graft and corruption and to ensure that public officials and employees conduct themselves in a manner worthy of public trust,” the dismissal order declared. Malacañang directed Puno to turn over relevant official documents to the DOH Office of the Undersecretary for Health Regulation immediately.

Under the agreement, DENR will work with the 10 Municipal Police Stations (MPS) in the 1stcongressional district and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company in protecting and developing the established forest plantations under the National Greening Program (NGP). Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer Celia Esteban said the police committed to protect and develop some 20 hectares NGP plantations found in Sitio Canding and Sitio Libag in Barangay Maasin of San Clemente town. “After three years, the established NGP plantations have no more funds for protection and maintenance and this is where the police will enter to adopt these areas which were established by our partner people’s organizations," Esteban explained. MPS shall also act as the overall project manager and shall take charge in the mobilization of personnel prioritizing in hiring the people's organizations within the area. (DENR) Moreover, they will be responsible in the funding of survey, mapping and planning, produce seedlings for replanting, maintenance and protection of the adopted plantation. OPERATION PACIFIC EAGLE–PHILIPPINES LEAD INSPECTOR GENERAL REPORT TO THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS JULY 1, 2020–SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 ABOUT THIS REPORT A 2013 amendment to the Inspector General Act established the Lead Inspector General (Lead IG) framework for oversight of overseas contingency operations and requires that the Lead IG submit quarterly reports to Congress on each active operation. The Chair of the Council of Inspectors General for Integrity and Efficiency designated the DoD Inspector General (IG) as the Lead IG for Operation Pacific Eagle–Philippines (OPE-P). The DoS IG is the Associate IG for the operation. The USAID IG participates in oversight of the operation. The Offices of Inspector General (OIG) of the DoD, the DoS, and USAID are referred to in this report as the Lead IG agencies. Other partner agencies also contribute to oversight of OPE-P. The Lead IG agencies collectively carry out the Lead IG statutory responsibilities to: • Develop a joint strategic plan to conduct comprehensive oversight of the operation. • Ensure independent and effective oversight of programs and operations of the U.S. Government in support of the operation through either joint or individual audits, inspections, investigations, and evaluations. • Report quarterly to Congress and the public on the operation and on activities of the Lead IG agencies. METHODOLOGY To produce this quarterly report, the Lead IG agencies submit requests for information to the DoD, the DoS, USAID, and other Federal agencies about OPE-P and related programs. The Lead IG agencies also gather data and information from other sources, including official documents, congressional testimony, policy research organizations, press conferences, think tanks, and media reports.

ADVISORY NO. 2021 - 04 SUBJECT : TEMPORARY SUSPENSION ON THE PROCESSING OF REQUESTS OF FOREIGN NATIONALS FOR ENDORSEMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS FOR TRAVEL BAN EXEMPTIONS TO THE PHILIPPINES This is with regard to the requests of Foreign Nationals (FNs) for endorsement to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for Travel Ban Exemptions (TBE) to the Philippines. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) refers to the following: (i) The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF- MEID) Resolution No. 103 dated 18 March 2021, wherein the entry of FNs into the country will be temporarily suspended from 22 March 2021 to 21 April 2021; (ii) The IATF-MEID National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF COVID-19) Memorandum Circular No. 6 dated 18 March 2021 on the Temporary Suspension of Travel into the Philippines, wherein the temporary suspension of entry of FNs into the country from 22 March 2021 to 21 April 2021 was also provided; and (iii) The Letter dated 19 March 2021 from DFA Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Brigido J.
