QOC BEACH GAMES 2020 BEGIN AT ASPIRE PARK

The QOC Beach Games kicked off at the Aspire Park on Sunday with the participation of ve hundred male and female athletes. Organised by the Olympic Committee (QOC), the event will be held until January 2. The QOC Secretary-General Jassim Rashid Al Buenain was present at the inauguration. Beach Games enthusiasts and amateurs were invited by the QOC to register their names and details via a link set up on the QOC of cial website. The participants will be competing in football, handball, volleyball and 3x3 basketball, as a maximum of four to 12 teams of men and women are allowed to participate in each sport. QOC said the initiative behind hosting the Beach Games is to encourage the community to keep their health and physical tness at top level.
