The No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies wrap up the road portion of their fall slate Friday when they travel to Tuscaloosa for a 7 p.m. contest against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Aggies enter play at 4-1-0, including a three-match win streak with wins against No. 15 Florida (2-1), Mississippi State (3-0) and Tennessee (3-1). SERIES VS. ALABAMA Texas A&M owns a 7-3-1 edge in the all-time series against the Crimson Tide. LOPEZ HAS HISTORIC DAY In the Aggies’ 6-1 victory over Kentucky last season, Jimena Lopez tied the Texas A&M single-game record with four assists. She equaled the mark set by Kat Krambeer against Texas-San Antonio on August 27, 2006. The tally came up one shy of the SEC record of five set by Ole Miss’s Leah Rutledge against Northwestern State on Nov. 1, 1996 and equaled two days later by teammate Tammy Zegledi against Middle Tennessee State. Alabama’s Libby Probst also registered against Nicholls State in 2005. It marked the first time since 1997 that a four-assist game was registered in SEC play and just the third time in league history. Florida’s Lisa Olinyk logged four assists against Tennessee in 1996 and fellow Gator Christie Brady tallied four helpers vs. LSU in 1997. POTENT OFFENSE Last season, Texas A&M ranked 11th in the nation with 51 goals. It marked the third straight season the Aggies ranked in the top 15 in the nation. They ranked 15th in both 2017 and 2018 with tallies of 46 and 49 goals, respectively.

LOPEZ AMONG THE NATION’S LEADERS IN ASSISTS IN 2019 Jimena Lopez ranked third in the nation and led the SEC with a Texas A&M single-sea- son record 15 assists in 2019. She also ranked third in the country with 0.71 assists per game. Her tally included a Texas A&M record-tying four in the Aggies’ 6-1 victory against Kentucky and three in a 4-0 rout of Abilene Christian.
