No.43/Rules/DHC Dated: 19.09.2016 PRACTICE DIRECTIONS Hon'ble the Chief Justice, on the recommendations of the “Rules Committee under Section 123 of CPC” of this Court has been pleased to issue following practice directions:- No Judicial Officer shall be appointed as a Receiver in any proceedings in the Court of Law. These Practice Directions shall come into force with immediate effect. By Order Sd/- (VINOD GOEL) REGISTRAR GENERAL In terms of the directions issued by the Hon'ble Division Bench in ITA No. 530/2016, it is informed that,henceforth, in all Income Tax Appeals it will be mandatory to furnish at the end of list of dates,a chart of not more than 3-4 pages indicating in brief the A.O.,C.I.T.(A) and ITAT's findings pertaining to issues to be raised in appeal. NOTICE It is hereby informed that Hon'ble the Chief Justice, on the recommendation of Hon'ble Computer Committee, in order to further augment its SMS-based services for the benefits of the Advocates and litigants, has launched the facility of sending SMS messages to the Advocates/litigants in the event of listing of their cases in the category of Regular Matters. Henceforth, in all the cases which have been filed through e-Filing software as well as other cases wherein mobile numbers of Advocates/litigants had been provided at the time of filing, the concerned Advocates/litigants will get SMS messages in the event of listing of their cases in the category of Regular Matters. As regard other cases wherein mobile numbers had not been provided at the time of filing, the Advocates/litigants (except the Advocates/litigants already registered with e-Filing software) willing to avail this facility, may register themselves with the software at e-Filing Centre-I, Room No. 4, Ground Floor, Lawyers' Chambers Block-I, Delhi High Court and after successful registration, they can add their cases to the list being maintained in this regard by logging into the newly developed software. The Advocates/litigants already registered with e-Filing software can also access this newly developed software by using their e-filing login credentials. It is also informed that at the time of registration for availing this facility, the concerned Advocate has to submit self-attested photo-copy of the registration/enrollment certificate issued by the Bar Council concerned and the litigant/party-in-person has to submit self-attested photo-copy of proof of identity and address. This exchange is done on 1st of January every year between the two neighbouring countries that bars them from attacking each other‟s atomic facilities. This is the 25th consecutive exchange of such list between the two countries, the first one having taken place on 1 January 1992. Union inks Financing Agreement with World Bank to fund education of minorities The Union Government has signed a Financing Agreement of 50 million dollars with the World Bank for Nai Manzil Scheme- Education and Skills Training for Minorities. Under this agreement, the credit will be facilitated by the International Development Association (IDA), World Bank‟s concessionary lending arm. This credit will be in the form of loan which carries a maturity of 25 years, including a 5- year grace period. The loan funds will be used for interventions under this scheme improve the employability and performance of minority youth in the labour market. The total project size is 100 million dollars, out of which 50 million dollars will be available as IDA credit and the remaining balance funding from the Union Budget. Padma Awards - one of the highest civilian Awards of the country, are conferred in three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The Awards are given in various disciplines/ fields of activities, viz.- art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc. ‘Padma Vibhushan’ is awarded for exceptional and distinguished service; ‘Padma Bhushan’ for distinguished service of high order and ‘Padma Shri’ for distinguished service in any field. The awards are announced on the occasion of Republic Day every year. 2. These awards are conferred by the President of India at ceremonial functions which are held at Rashtrapati Bhawan usually around March/ April every year.
