Units are painted timber with solid oak worktops, and a double butler sink, with the utility refurbished as well with a new sink and space under counter for a washing machine and tumble dryer. A settlement here possibly dates back to Roman times, and North Runcton has an entry in the Domesday Book of 1085 where its population, land ownership and productive resources were extensively detailed. Fast forwarding to the twentieth century, as a young boy, the actor Michael Caine was evacuated to North Runcton from London during World War II. It is quite a lively village with a nursery school, a cricket club and a tennis club, and many activities based around the church. It is close to the A47 and to the A10, and for all the many amenities in King’s Lynn, including schools and a train station with a direct line to London and Cambridge. The royal estate of Sandringham and the Norfolk coast, with its miles and miles of sandy beaches, are also not far away.
