What San Francisco street/intersection would you choose for an epic street party and why? 119 Utah St. between Alameda and 15th St. where the Great Northern Club is located. My friends own the club and have thrown massive, successful block parties regularly there with the support of SFPD and city approval. It is inclusive, well organized, well attended and continues to gain accolades for its production.

What are the top three issues you will work on, and how will you implement solutions in a timely manner? (1250 character limit) Affordable housing, public education, public safety, and ensuring our district gets the resources it needs are my priorities. Conservation, alternative energy/transportation and equal rights are also concerns of mine. If given an opportunity to serve as Supervisor, would quickly move to sponsor legislation to ask to commission studies to change zoning requirements in transit corridors in District 4. I would also ask that other Supervisors look to explore ways to work with the SFUSD to change the lottery for students to attend local schools. I look to be the native leader that the Sunset deserves and needs devoid of the progressive v. moderate battles that happen at City Hall.

I have built lasting relationships with Sunset families, small businesses, and ethnic communities the last 37 years. I am a graduate of Holy Name, SI, and SFSU. As co-chairperson for Friends of the San Francisco Public Library Campaign, we fundraised moni es to build the LEED certified Ortega Branch Library. I was elected to serve as president of West side Democratic Club in 2010. I have been a Regional Field Director with Youth for Understandi ng, USA where I supervised international high school students on exchange program, complying with local school districts, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Justice and partner co untries. I have consulted and managed multiple non-profit and political campaigns. Through it a ll, I have earned the trust of the people. I have many residents confidence to get the job done. That matters. Changes to San Francisco have threatened to impact our middle-class families. Renters can no l onger afford to live in SF. We must keep our district uniquely diverse. Wit
