St Macartan's, Aghadrumsee THE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY from Saturday 18th until Sat- urday 25th January. The resources for this year were compiled by the Churches in Malta. 19th January Sacred Heart, Clones The theme for this coming Week of Prayer is ‘Unusual Kindness’ and is taken from Acts of 2020 the Apostles (Acts 28:2). It recalls the coming of the Gospel to Malta and St Paul’s recogni- St Alphonsus, Connons tion of the unusual kindness received from the locals following his shipwreck. Description of the Area Ballinamallard is a small village, approximately five miles North of Enniskillen; it is located off the main A32, Enniskillen to Irvinestown road on the B46, Enniskillen to Dromore road. Due to its close proximity to Enniskillen, many of the residents work there and Ballinamallard is now almost a ‘dormitory’ village - house prices are relatively cheaper than Enniskillen, but it is still convenient to this major settlement. With Irvinestown, located four miles to its North, the village has been ‘squeezed’ by two economically stronger settlements.
