Today’s generation is highly focused on attaining skills for their better and bright future. No doubt they are on the right track, because every parent/guardian dream’s to see their ward becoming independent and growing in terms of money, career, and social status. The parents/guardians always give their best to their ward, but many times ward (child) on becoming independent neglects their parent’s / guardian’s care and small or micro wishes, which hurts them highly.

Keeping this issue in view, on the occasion of World Food Day (Wednesday, 16th of October, 2019), a trip “Hum Aapko Sunne Aaye Hai” to Community Center (AROH, Bithoor) was organized for the final year management post graduate students of College of Management Studies (CMS), to meet senior citizens, so that students may be aware of the feelings of the persons getting older and in turn give positive and supportive behavior to their parents, guardians and other senior persons of the society. During the program, various performances (poetry, jokes, story-telling etc.) were given by the students of CMS, McRobertganj, Kanpur. Also great positive response was received from the other side in the form of poetry, experience sharing, lessons for the life, thought sharing, suggestions for routine practices for a healthy life and questions/ queries solving. During the trip Dr. Nandita Verma (Director, College of Management Studies) accompanied the students as well.
