A few of us have S moved to ceramic pads to get away from that annoying brake dust problem. I’m pretty sure that brake dust is an issue on most Corvettes, but it really seems to be somewhat nasty on the C7 – any C7. You wash your car, get the wheels all spit-shined and polished and take off for a quick jaunt. Maybe you only go 10 miles. When you return, you wipe your fingers on the wheels and – YIKES! – black brake dust.
