Jess Hucks A big hello to the Cobdogla children, parents, staff and community members. My name is Jessica Hucks and I’ve been teaching for 11 years across the . For the past 6 years I’ve been at the Loxton Preschool, transitioning many 4 year olds into their schooling years. Prior to this I taught in many schools and preschools specialising in the early years. I even taught at Cobdogla PS in 2007 and 2008. During this time I was the R/1 teacher and also the Japanese teacher which I’m happy to say I’ll be assuming again in 2019. It was a lovely surprise to see a few familiar faces from this time still a part of the Cobby staff. Since leaving Cobdogla at the end of 2008 my family has grown a little. My husband, Tim and I now have 3 boys. Tyler is my eldest and he’s about to turn 10, Samuel has just turned 8 and Jordan, my youngest, is 5 and has just commenced his schooling journey. We live in Loxton and have done so for the past 11 years. I enjoy my netball, playing for Wunkar in the independent league, as well as summer netball in Loxton. I’m also an active committee member of the Loxton Scout Group and my boys thoroughly enjoy being part of scouts. On the weekend in the summer we enjoy taking our boat out, going for biscuits and kneeboards and enjoying the beautiful place we live in. We love camping and also traveling during the school holidays. I’m very much looking forward to working with Jo and also the staff at Cobdogla Primary School in 2019. It has always been such a welcoming community with people willing to help each other out whenever they can. I’m also very excited to meet all the new reception children and watching them grow and develop throughout the year along with bringing the Japanese Language, culture and traditions back to CPS! Welcome to Our New Staff and Students Kirsten Kubank Hi my name is Kirsten Kubank. I have 2 children, Robert is 9 and Brooke is 7. My fiancés name is Luke. I have been in the child care industry since 2004 and worked in various fields such as child care centres and I was the director at a local oshc for 5 years. We live out of Barmera on a hobby farm property with lots of space and piece and quiet. In my spare time I like to read, spend time with my family and friends. I look forward to working with you all at Cobdogla Primary School.

Sheree Smart I am excited to be working with the year 4 class this year. I have been teaching for 5 years in a variety of roles in Riverland primary schools, most recently working with Waikerie Lutheran and St Jo’s Renmark in Intervention delivery and support. I am passionate about creating a classroom environment where every child can thrive. My family and I love camping, outdoor adventures and exploring our amazing country. In my free time I enjoy reading and baking with my girls.

Ella year 4, Kiana year 5 and Cyrus year 1

Adrian Little Hi, I am Mr Little (Adrian). I live in Berri with my wife and 3 children. My 2 boys will turn 11 and 9 this year, and my little girl will celebrate her 6th birthday next month. Both my boys are cub scouts, and I am a parent volunteer for Scouts. I enjoy all things computers (including the odd video game). I have a bachelor degree in Computer Science which I completed part time, while working full time at Barmera Primary School. My major is Software Engineering, and I really enjoy computer programming, design and coding. I am very excited to be joining your school this year to help with all of your computers and information technology (ICT). I have helped a few schools with their ICT over the past 16 years, while working for the Department for Education, and I hope that I can make a very worthwhile contribution to Cobby Primary School.
